Fun Facts

  • I was recruited by boss-lady-friend Sally Wern Comport to apply 670 linear feet of 23k gold leaf to her hand-painted murals for Rockefeller Center!

  • My artwork was once printed on a special edition bottle of Blue Moon beer as part of their 20 Artist, 20 Labels 20th Anniversary promotion

  • I was voted “Most Artistic” in my high school yearbook

  • I can trace all my major life events back to my 2nd grade teacher. (Her daughter became my best friend who got me my first high school job at the farm stand where I met my husband and find constant inspiration for my art!)

  • I graduated from MICA in 2010 with a BFA in Illustration Cum Laude and have been with the Art at Large Inc. studio ever since! I’ve also worked for—

    • Art Things art supply (where I started using my LBo nickname for shorthand and spent all my income on supplies, obviously)

    • One of the country’s oldest newspapers, the Capital Gazette

    • the family drywall business scrapping houses

    • ArtFarm, a teaching space for creatives of all ages, and Future History Now, including a 7,000 square foot mural of Breonna Taylor that was published in Time Magazine

    • ArtWalk Annapolis, a 501-c3 public art initiative
